A delightful soap based on beautiful yellow Calendula flowers, the healing Calendula oil and a marvellous blend of fruit and floral essential oils, including Orange, Petitgrain, Patchouli, Orange Blossom, Tagetes & Rose Geranium. This soap has many therapeutic properties; therefore it makes a great soap for problem skin types and with tagetes oil giving benefits of being anti-infectious, anti-microbial, antibiotic, anti-spasmodic, insecticidal and sedative, it makes a very effective foot soap. The healing combination of essential oils are cleansing whilst protecting and deodorising the skin. The flavonoids present in the calendula flower have also anti-inflammatory, astringent, antifungal and antiseptic properties. The soap bar can help calm and heal boils, rashes, sunburn, insect bites and other skin irritations such as eczema and psoriasis. It is also a good tonic for the scalp and hair and has found to be helpful for thread and spider veins, varicose veins and bruises. Calendula is gentle oil and can be used by individuals with sensitive skin. It also smells wonderful.
